Maui

Jackpot

Gabriel Santiago released the enviro-seal on his suit and let his helmet drop to the ground. The door had cycled behind him, and its screen read as sealed. The air felt stagnant. It tasted stale, but the dim light from the barely-functioning screen showed stairs cut in the red Martian rock ahead of him.

The information from Titan had been more than expected. He’d just hoped for some proprietary knowledge to sell. Who would have expected that he’d find a treasure map?

The mentions of a new type of interface were oblique, nearly fearful, and they had intrigued the robber.

Gabe had been careful to wipe all trace of this “Maui” from the Weyland servers. And then he’d hopped a transport to Mars to find it.

The stairs were dusty from disuse, and the walls were pitted Martian stone. But as Gabe took his first step forward, the lights above him flickered into being, spreading a red illumination.

Ahead of him, something came to life. A blue light on a pedestal. Where would this lead him?

Cashy Money

I’ve always tried to do Vamp decks with Pheromones. Well, now we have Maui. As usual, it’s not as immediately useful as Desperado, so why even run it? It’s got two memory, so we’re putting in Sneakdoor—clearly. After that, we’re using Central breakers. That’s because we’re going hard into hitting those centrals.

I admit, it’s a theme choice, not an optimal one! =D

But we’re going to Turning Wheel, Temujin, Datasucker, and Maui our way into excessive efficiency. Then we’re going to Vamp the corp down to zero, using our real credits, but also our Gabe credits and our Maui credits (yes—they can be used on Vamps!).

We’ve got Maker’s to try and close, Quest Completed to try and snag cards when we’re locked out of a remote, and Inside Job, Forged, Shutdown, Maxwell, and Operative to find other ways to threaten remotes.

Card draw? Who knows. Aaron?

Cash? Temujin. Siphon.

Then let’s recur. It should be an interesting deck, but it’d probably be better if I put in a regular breaker suite. But if I did that, I’d have to lose the whole Vamp plan. Probably.

Let’s see how it goes.
